Stone Custom Construction and Design was founded in 2019 by Brad Stone, owner and General Contractor.
Brad had a vision to bring together methodical home design concepts, custom craftsmanship and industry best building processes to produce high-quality results for each project.
SCCD specializes in offering full service design and build construction for new build and remodels for commercial and residential clients.

We manage site design, budget, project timeline, plan execution, and provide a detailed selection sheet, all with open communication throughout your project.
Brad Stone
Brad Stone launched his career in the construction and design field in 2000 in his family’s hardwood flooring business. Throughout his 20 years of experience working alongside his father, Brad developed an unmatched work ethic while curating his eye for design, architecture and building for both commercial and residential spaces.
His ultimate dream of being a General Contractor was achieved in 2019 when he obtained his GC license and opened SCCD. Brad brings his decades-long knowledge of industry best practices, trends and materials coupled with his expertise in attention to detail and project management. He resides in Greer, SC, with his wife and son. Brad enjoys music, the outdoors and spending time with family.
Shane Timms brings more than 35 years of experience in project management and implementation and commercial and residential construction and remodeling to SCCD. Shane launched his career working with Brad’s family business where he spent 15 years honing his expertise in the hardwood flooring business and cultivating his top notch work ethic.
He later served as a project manager for Duke Energy for nearly 20 years, with a focus on coordinating and implementing projects in the South Carolina market. Shane resides in Pickens, SC, with his wife, and enjoys time with his two grandkids. He is also an avid Clemson Tiger fan and enjoys hunting and fishing and the outdoors.

Tory Nicolay
Tory Nicolay joined Stone Custom Construction & Design in June 2022 as Operations Manager. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, operations and project management, graphic design and customer service. Prior to joining SCCD, Tory served as Operations Director for a local Greenville nonprofit and marketing manager for several national brands in the restaurant and higher education spaces. She also owned her own company and worked with an award-winning public relations firm in Southern California and as a freelance writer and researcher for several Better Homes and Gardens special interest home and garden magazines. Tory resides in Greer, SC, with her husband and dog and is looking forward to enjoying her own custom home built by SCCD.
